Enzymes - Optizyme

Optizyme is the collective name given to Optivite's range of enzymes.
Within the range we have products designed primarily for maize-soya based feeds. Traditionally it was held that there was little scope for improvement in digestibility of these types of feed, but recent genetic development of maize plants for harvesting reasons has introduced factors, which benefit from enzyme addition. Consequently it is now possible to significantly improve the nutrient digestibility of such diets, especially where the formulations contain significant levels of more fibrous cereal and vegetable protein by-products.

For wheat / barley based diets the Optizyme range contains specific products designed for a variety of situations. Our nutritionists have considerable expertise and knowledge in the relative efficacy of different enzyme combinations to optimise performance for your particular feed requirements.

Optizyme products are available in a convenient powder form suitable for most situations. However where the feed production process involves significant heat, which can denature enzymes, it is often advisable to use Optizyme in liquid form, spraying onto the feed after the pelleting and cooling process.
