Antioxidants - Oxigard

Oxigard is designed to prevent oxidation in complete feeds and feed ingredients such as vitamin mineral premixes, oils, fats and animal protein meals.

It has a dual action:

1. Synergistic combinations of proven antioxidant materials work sequentially to quench the free radicals generated by the oxidation process. In this way, potentially dangerous derivatives from the process are quickly transformed into benign molecules, thus stabilising the nutritive value of the feed.
2. Chelating agents deny the opportunity for metal ions (such as copper and iron, present at high levels in feeds) to exert their catalytic effect on the oxidation process, thus slowing the chain reaction that can result in spoilage.

Available as a free flowing powder for use in feed and vitamin mineral premix as a liquid in true oil phase for oils, fats and animal protein meal application, Oxigard provides an effective solution throughout the feed chain.
